Angel is native of Vilcabamba, married with two daughters. With his wife Maria, they run “Hostal Valle Sagrado” the most lovely and cheapest hostal in town.
He loves doing the “on-route” part of the tours and he is passionated about socializing with tourists while walking, biking through the pristine tracks.
That’s not all!
He also enjoys the opportunity to talk to visitors about local facts, services and any other stuff that comes to mind at the moment. He feels he grows with every interaction with tourists because he learns a lot from them, he loves to listen to what they have to say, theirs customs, their worldview. And he feels fulfilled when others learn from him too.
And Angel’s enthusiasm increases when he becomes aware of the fascination others have for Vilcabamba, his native land.
